We wish to inform you that, in line with port state control regulations, effective 1st January 2026, the Gambia Maritime Administration will be imposing fines on detained Gambia Flagged Vessels in respect of Port State Control (PSC) inspections. 

It is crucial that all maritime service providers inform and advise shipowners and operators of this latest development to ensure compliance and to mitigate any potential penalties or operational disruptions.
